A7 Pedestrian Reach Truck

The A7 Pedestrian Reach Truck is ideal for moving, loading/unloading, and lifting average to heavy goods in narrower aisles than its ride on counterpart. The pantograph mechanism is the distinguishing feature on some of these trucks, but there is also a moving mast type too. Both allows the truck to extend the forks with/without the load into and outwards from the rack at any height (subject to make and manufacturer) without having to move the machine.

The Pedestrian Reach Truck is best utilised in spaces where there are tight zones and narrow aisles between the racks. They are commonly used in indoor scenarios for small to medium distance transportation and have similar controls to the D1 one variant.

A7 Pedestrian Reach Truck training will advise on smooth operation of the controls at all times. it will also cover the best way to negotiate narrow spaces, appropriately positioning the truck for stacking/destacking, controlling the pantograph/mast to maximise the reach, maintaining a balance with loads at a height and safe lifting and lowering techniques with the application of the parking brake and neutral, as required.
